Mobile Security Patrols in Baltimore and Maryland

Not every property needs an officer posted all night. Mobile patrols give you a visible security presence and regular property checks, usually at a lower cost than a dedicated guard. On Site Police provides mobile patrol services across Baltimore and Maryland for residential communities, commercial properties, construction sites and vacant buildings. Our company was founded by Maryland police officers.

How mobile patrol works

A patrol officer visits your property during the shift and checks the areas that matter most to you. We'll agree on the visits and the areas to check when we build your plan.

What patrol officers check

  • Parking lots, garages, perimeters, fences and gates

  • Doors, locks, gates and windows

  • Trespassers, loiterers and unauthorized vehicles

  • Vandalism, damage, lighting outages and safety hazards

  • Amenities such as pools, clubhouses and fitness centers

Who uses mobile patrol

  • Apartment communities and HOAs: overnight and weekend checks, parking lot and amenity rounds

  • Commercial properties: after-hours perimeter checks and lot patrols

  • Construction sites: checks between crews when a full-time guard isn't needed. See Construction Site Security.

  • Vacant and transitional properties: deterrence against squatting, vandalism and metal theft

  • Retail centers: after-hours lot and storefront checks

Patrol or a dedicated guard?

Patrols are the most cost-effective option for properties that need regular presence but not constant coverage. If incidents continue, a dedicated unarmed or licensed armed officer can be added at the times that matter most.

Frequently asked questions

  • How many times will a patrol visit my property? It depends on your property and budget. We'll recommend a plan when you request a quote.

  • Is mobile patrol cheaper than a security guard? Usually, because you pay for patrol visits instead of a full posted shift.
