What's the difference between armed and unarmed security? Unarmed officers handle deterrence, access control, patrol and customer service. Armed officers are licensed and trained to carry a firearm for higher-risk sites.

Is On Site Police licensed and insured? Yes, we're licensed, insured and bonded. Maryland Security Agency License 106-5544. We also hold MCA (Maryland Cannabis Administration) License L-20-00015 for cannabis security.

Do you provide off-duty police officers? No. Our company was founded by Maryland police officers, but we provide licensed armed and unarmed security officers, not off-duty police.

What training does your team have? Our security professionals are trained in firearm safety and firearm classes, de-escalation, first aid, CPR and crowd control.

Can officers dress to match my event? Yes. Officers come dressed for your event, from uniformed to casual to formal.
